Eurodecori produces exclusively for the world's main eyewear companies. These decorations give the eyewear an extraordinary seductive quality, thanks to their shapes and prestigious, transparent or covering colors.Thanks to innovative technologies Eurodecori is leader in decorating plastic and metal frames and sunglasses with wonderful stones.
Such technologies as three-dimensional CAD/CAM, numerically controlled milling and wire-type electroerosion machining, account for the technical superiority of this Italian company. Eurodecori can also very quickly produce samples based on the client's ideas or drawings or on Eurodecori's original designs. The company exhibit every year at Mido and Silmo.
When was Eurodecori founded?
Our company was founded in Pederobba in 1990 by three partners and employees, who wanted to take a challenge and start producing die cast eyewear decorations. Nowadays our production extended to decorations for costume jewelry, fashion accessories and components. As we started we had low technology, but then, thanks to our reliability and efficiency, we became popular and in 1999 we moved to our plant in Vas. Nowadays in our company work 52 employees and the entire production, except for plating, is carried out inside our facilities. It's worth to underline that, even though it isn't made inside our facilities, the plating is committed to Italian companies.
What materials do you work with?
The material we use to make our products is a tonsul alloy, mainly composed by zinc, alluminum and copper. This alloy comes from Italy and is processed inside our plant. Tonsul is not easy to process, since it takes a lot of expertise. Without expertise we wouldn't be able to offer a high quality product that can meet the standards that our customers require. If it's well processed, it is a great material you can use to make great products.
What is your number one product and what kind of service do you offer to your customers?
We're asked by our customers to make logos for eyewear. Usually the customer provides us with a drawing of the decoration, but it may happen that they ask us to make the drawing as well. What we do then is molding, tumbling, polishing, plating outside the plant, processing enamels, rhinestone application and threading. Once the decoration is ready, it's delivered to the customer for its application on eyewear frames.
What about your machinery turnover?
Once every three years we get ready for machinery turnover, so that we can always keep up with technological innovation and stay competitive and well-advanced.
Besides innovation, you need to get people to know you. What events do you play a leading role at?
You can find us at all sector main events: Mido in Milan, Silmo in Paris, Optical Fair in Hong Kong, Opti in Munich, Vision Expo in New York. Moreover, we take part in the workshop “Eyewear Operative Mission” in Panama.
What is your target market and in what countries do you sell your products?
You can find us in every country where eyewear is produced. We work mainly with Italy and then with U.S., Germany, Poland, Czechoslovakia, Austria.
Chinese competition is ruthless in every industry and trade sector, eyewear sector is no exception. How do you face this challenge?
The only way to face China is ensuring our customers rapidity and efficiency of service and a high quality product. You can't do it otherwise.
By now advertising is the fastest and most direct way to let people get to know your company. What is your marketing strategy?
We firmly believe in advertising and in its communicative power. Without advertising our product wouldn't be so popular as it is nowadays: guarantee of reliability, high quality and efficiency.
